Coach End is in a central position within the popular New Forest town of Lymington. Comfortably furnished and accommodating five guests and two dogs, the enviable location of the cottage allows easy access to all that this bustling sailing town has to offer. Within minutes you can stroll to the High Street, with plenty of shops, cafes pubs and restaurants to while away a few hours. There is a childrens play park just across the road, and dog walks right from the doorstep. Downstairs there is a well equipped kitchen and separate dining room overlooking the garden. The large lounge has plenty of seating options, and French doors open onto the pretty garden. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, the master with vanity sink, and a family bathroom. Outside, the private rear garden has a flat lawn and patio area with seating areas to sit and relax with an evening tipple after a busy day exploring! Lymington is a wonderful base to enjoy birdwatching, we have seen the return of Great and Little Egrets, Avocets and the latest arrivals Spoonbills. Marsh Harriers soar over the reed beds at Keyhaven and, if you;re very lucky, you may even see a White-tailed Eagle, recently re-introduced as part of a breeding programme on the Isle of Wight. In the summer, Little and Common Terns nest and you may be treated to their spectacular dives into the sea to catch their prey. Dartford and Cettis warblers can be seen (or heard) in the gorse bushes right next to the path. The autumn and winter see the arrival of thousands of migrating wildfowl from Scandinavia and Greenland. You will see rafts of Brent Geese and ducks including Wigeon, Teal, Pintails and Gadwalls. Lymingtons ancient charter market lines the High Street every Saturday and is a must visit, with a wide selection of stalls and crafts. The Lymington Sea Water Baths with inflatable course is close by, as are the marinas and coastal path, for walking and cycling with views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight. Wander down to the station to catch a train to the ferry port and onto Yarmouth, just a 30 minute trip. The beautiful New Forest National Park is within a 10 minute drive with miles of heathland to explore - enjoy walking, cycling or horse riding amongst the free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys. Other local attractions include the National Motor Museum and Palace House at Beaulieu, Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World and a choice of glorious beaches along the coastline towards Bournemouth.
