Northay Cottage is superbly located opposite the open Forest, with miles of walking and cycling tracks to explore right from the doorstep. Having been recently lovingly refurbished to a very high standard, the cottage offers new and stylish interiors and modern appliances. Downstairs, the large, open plan kitchen/diner boasts double bi-folding doors opening up onto a terrace bringing the outside in on warm summer days. The comfortable lounge has a wood burning stove for cosy evenings in, and there is a downstairs bedroom with separate shower room offering flexible accommodation. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities and a family bathroom. Brockenhurst village is within a 20 minute walk where you will find shops including 2 mini-supermarkets, pubs and eateries. The Pig restaurant is a 10 minute walk away, as is The Balmer Lawn Hotel, both offering fine dining options. The south coast yachting town of Lymington is just a short drive away, where there are plenty of interesting shops, a famous Saturday charter market, restaurants, pubs and coastal walks to enjoy. From Brockenhurst mainline station you can catch a train to Lymington, Southampton, Bournemouth and beyond.
