The Garden Lodge at Broadacres is a beautifully furnished single-storey open plan lodge with kitchen, sitting and dining areas with the king size bed set back in an alcove in the same room. Situated within the grounds of Broadacres, an AA 5 Star Silver bed & breakfast, the lodge itself is set apart from the main house and is a tranquil place to relax in with only the horses grazing in the paddocks for company. If you don’t want to cook yourself, homemade meals can be prepared by your host, an award winning AA recognised cook. Or for an extra special treat, have a candle-lit meal for two in the orangery of the main house.

The village of Ripe is within walking distance with delicatessen, post office and an excellent village shop selling tasty home-cooked food. The local vicinity has many local pubs where good food is served; The Gun at Gun Hill, The Cricketers Arms in Berwick Village and The Griffin Inn at Fletching are all recommended. Whitesmith is close to the historic town of Lewes where the castle and the Barbican Hour Museum are not to be missed.
