Puffin Lodge is a beautiful, well-equipped holiday cottage in a superb location - the decor and furnishings are lovely and based on seaside and nautical themes in a soft, neutral pallet of blues, greys and creams with accents of duck egg blue. The property is thoughtfully equipped for a perfect holiday.

The living area is a good size and open plan comprising a sitting room looking out onto the decking, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV (ideal for catching up on all your Netflix movies and box sets!) and integrated DVD and a wood burning stove - lovely to light and enjoying the warmth and ambience of its flickering flames when the nights draw in.

Folding doors reveal a lovely decked area with table and chairs - it's south-facing so a sun trap! - where better to enjoy breakfast together or why not chill a bottle of wine and relax over pre-dinner drinks, after a long day on the beach - bliss!

There is attention to detail in this cottage with games, DVDs, books and magazines and even a set of boules for guests to enjoy.

The dining area is close to the kitchen (no reason for the cook to feel left out!) and has a table and chairs to comfortably seat four people; it's a great spot to enjoy meals and each other's company - after all, isn't that what holidays are about, just taking time out to stop, relax, have fun and remember what's truly important?

The immaculate kitchen is well-equipped with appliances including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. There is an ironing board and iron too.

This lovely property has two bedrooms, both having plenty of storage and each including a hair dryer. There is a good size master bedroom suite with a comfortable 5' king size bed. The bedroom is very charming - we love the port hole window! - and also has a TV, dresser, wardrobe and bedside tables with good lighting if you like to read before you go to sleep. There is an en-suite wet room, with a walk-in shower area, WC and hand wash basin.

The pretty twin bedroom has two single beds - which are zip-and-link if you prefer to have a large, 5' bed - plus a TV, wardrobe and bedside table, again with good lighting. It has a smart en-suite shower room with a shower cubicle, WC and hand wash basin. Both bedrooms have black out blinds if you want to have a lovely long lie in and hold back the sunshine for the beach!

OUTSIDE
The property has a lawned area to the front as well as the raised decking which has pillars and ropes to add to the seaside theme - it's an idyllic spot to take in the Yorkshire sea air, sitting back and sipping your morning cup of tea or coffee as the day begins.

There is parking to the rear.

Puffin Lodge is on one level so suitable for those with limited mobility.
