Furnished to a high standard yet retaining many of the 18th century period features with high ceilings, large sash windows and the original slate-hung clock tower restored to working order with the preserved weather vane. Entered from the courtyard where there is parking for two cars, the property is fronted by a small patio garden with a path and one step leading up to the wide front doorway which opens to an entrance lobby. An inner glazed door opens into a carpeted hallway leading to a cloakroom W. C. with hand basin and a modern style kitchen with smart fitted units. It is a short walk to the entrance of The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the largest garden restoration project in Europe with over 80 acres of gardens. The award winning Lobbs farm shop is also a short walk and the acclaimed Eden Project is about a 30 minute drive. The nearby villages of St Ewe and Pentewan, approx 1. 5 miles respectively, have pubs offering food and the traditional fishing village of Mevagissey is just over 2 miles away with a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs and a seasonal ferry operating from the harbour to Fowey. Just beyond Mevagissey, the small cove of Portmellon has a shingly beach and the popular family beach at Gorran Haven with safe bathing is about a ten minute drive.
