In fact, the train ride to, and from, Carbis Bay is one of the most beautiful train rides in the country. The train runs along the coast to the centre of St Ives, it’s a short ride but well worth it. Once in St Ives you will enjoy the numerous surf or family friendly beaches, restaurants and galleries as well as the old cobbled streets and artists retreats.

If walking is your passion, the coastal path is on your doorstep, the walks in this area are fabulous, whether you prefer a stroll along even ground headland or a rugged exhilarating stomp, 1 Sandy Lane lies in the perfect location with easy access to beautiful Carbis Bay beach. The coast path from Carbis Bay is wonderful, with breath-taking views of Godrevy lighthouse, Gwithian Towans and endless miles of golden sands below. Alternatively, walkers will enjoy the scenic coastal path route to St Ives in around 25 minutes.
