Bathroom with roll-top bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Lower ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Sitting room with woodburning stove.

Gas central heating. Electric oven and Gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer with ice-maker, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and toys. Fuel, power and starter pack for fires inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Two travel cots and one highchair. Off road parking for 4 cars. Lockable bike storage. Lawned gardens and decked patio with furniture, BBQ with access to extensive grounds with summerhouse. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 8 mins walk, pub 1 mile. Note: Twins can be super king-size doubles by arrangement with owner, at least 1 week in advance. Note: Attic bedroom accessed through super king-size double, can also be used as a play room.

Thornfield is a charming, detached cottage, situated on the outskirts of the Cumbrian village of Arnside. The cottage is set over four floors and can sleep twelve people in a double and a zip/link twin room on the lower ground floor, a super king-size double room on the first floor offering access to a room with a single day bed in the attic, a twin room, and a family room containing a double and single bed. There is a family bathroom and a shower room on both the ground and lower ground floors. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, open fire, and doors to the patio, and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside, enjoy use of lawned gardens, a decked patio with furniture, and extensive grounds with a summer house. There is also off road parking for four cars. Thornfield is a wonderful base for exploring Cumbria and the Lake District, with something to do for all the family.
