From the coastal road the towns of Dartmouth and Kingsbridge can be reached within thirty minutes, and a little further on from Kingsbridge is the sailing mecca of Salcombe, which can also be reached on the foot ferry from the sandy beaches of East Portlemouth. Dartmoor is just a forty-minute drive also, and there a host of other attractions for all ages, including Woodlands Leisure Park within easy distances.
